I have always felt short-changed when it comes to birthdays. As a child, not seeing my birthdate on the yearly calendar was unsettling. No one could explain why to me. When I got older, my parents didn't give me any present 3 years out of 4 because "it wasn't my REAL birthday." I've never met anyone else with my birthday. I did hear of one mother with a leap year child [that's another thing - we are not babies] who celebrates the child's UNREAL birthday for a whole week leading up to Feb. 28. One of my friends calls Feb. 28 my unbirthday. It only gets funny when people try to guess my REAL age!
