First Leap Birthday 2/29/1960: The cake was ordered, baloons hung, friends invited to celebrate my first real birthday. That morning I awake with the measles and the party was canceled. The story appeared in the Knoxville, Tenn news paper titled "Measles Spoils "First" Birthday". This 2000, I am celebrating my 11th leap year. The 29 comes on Tuesday, hence it will be champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, and a house full of friends.
