"Born 5 days early! One of nine Leap Day babies born in Champaign-Urbana, IL. Joined Headlight-Sun ""Order of the 29ers"" World Chapter No. 1 in 1968. Met my then future husband Oct 1967. I so wanted to ask him to marry me in true Leap Year fashion on Feb 29, 1968, but decided not to buck tradition and waited for him to ask me Nov 1969. Turned out it was worth the wait, as we will be married 38 years in May, 2008. Will be attending the Martha Stewart Leap Day party Feb 29, 2008 with Sue one of the ""leap day sisters"".
