"I LOVE being a Leap Year Baby, it makes me special and unique!! Its a great conversation starter at a party...and everyone LOVES to see my ID!! I celebrate my birthday on both days if possible...after all, its the last three hours of the 28th of February and the first 3 hours of March 1st... most of my friends say ""happy"" to me on the 28th and ""birthday"" to me on the 1st of March... When I was a little girl, my mother was a strict ""februarite"" and we celebrated it on the 28th. When people tell me that it sucks to be born on Leap Year, I say heck no...I get to celebrate two days of the year instead of one (see above) and then once every four years I get to have a really BIG party...and everyone has to be there, because they have had four years notice...haha!! This year I have rented a hall to host my bday party in...should hopefully be a good time!! I have met THREE Leap Year Babies in my short lifetime, believe it or not...two that are the same age as me (one in elementary school and one that I met when I first started my career) and one was my boss in high school...bizarre...I guess Vancouver Islandites don't have anything else better to do 9 months before leap day ;P"
